Summary of the contracting process

The Northamptonshire County Council, through LGSS, is inviting tenders for the "Northamptonshire Intensive Support Service" which encompasses health and social work services. This procurement falls under the services category and is open for bidding until 12:00 noon on 13th May 2016. The contracted services will cater to children, young people, and their families, available in three lots covering immediate, medium, and long-term intensive support. The contract is set to commence from 1st August 2016 and may extend over a maximum term of four years and eight months, depending on the options exercised.

This tender presents significant opportunities for organisations specialising in health and social care services, particularly those experienced in working with children and families. Businesses that focus on early intervention and preventative services, as well as those capable of building strong local partnerships, would be particularly well-suited to compete. The emphasis on payment by results in Lots 2 and 3 may also attract companies adept at demonstrating measurable outcomes for their services.
