We request a dispensation on the following grounds : 1. compatibility with laboratories in the Pharmacy Building, Students use these rotoary evaporators in the other building and they would be able to use the same equipment in Boots Science Building without further training and competency checks. 2. Radleys are the Uk agents for the preferred equipment can provide as a complete unit, and assemble and install the equipment as part of the delivery. 3. there are world wide shortages of suitable vacuum pumps, but there are a number available currently due to orders bound for Russia being cancelled Theses are the same equipment as specified by the Chemistry School, while currently there are not many students that work I both areas there are advantages in sharing expertise and spare parts.
