Notice Description

Birmingham City Council requires a supplier for the provision of an Assistant Psychologist for a Specialised Intervention Service for Children and Young People. This contract will be for a period of 3 years commencing on or as soon as possible after 27th February 2017 until 26th February 2020, subject to the continuing availability of funding and a successful annual review (including achievement of Key Performance Indicators). The Specialist Intervention Service will be provided for children and young people (and their parents / carers) who are known to the Birmingham Sexually Harmful Behaviour team (SHB), including children and young people with Additional Learning Needs (ALN). We wish to enter into a Contract with an organisation able to deploy an Assistant Psychologist to work with Children / Young People as part of a Specialist Intervention. This individual will be based with the Sexually Harmful Behaviour Team which offers a city wide service to children and young people aged 7 to 17 years and their families. On occasion the Assistant Psychologist will be required to attend meetings at different locations across the City. BCC will be using its e-tendering system (in-tend) for the administration of this procurement process and providers must register with the system to be able to express an interest.
