P2265 - Animal Welfare, Collection and Boarding Services
Notice Description
The Council is seeking a supplier to provide a reliable animal collection and temporary boarding service for pet animals whose owners are unable to care for them because they have been taken into the care of the council and no else has agreed to look after the pets. This service will enable Birmingham City Council to fulfil its statutory duties to make provision for the welfare of property (including pets) of citizens it provides care for, in situations where there is no one else who is willing and able to do so. This is a below threshold procurement and the request for quotation process is being followed. This quote is broken down into the 3 Lots below: Lot 1 - Boarding and Care of Dogs Lot 2 - Boarding and Care of Cats Lot 3 - Boarding and Care of Other animals BCC will be using its e-tendering system (in-tend) for the administration of this procurement process and providers must register with the system to be able to express an interest. The web address is: https://in-tendhost.co.uk/birminghamcc. Registration and use of In-tend is free. All correspondence for this procurement process must be via the In-tend correspondence function. If you are interested in tendering please click on the following link to access Birmingham City Councils tender Portal: https://in-tendhost.co.uk/birminghamcc/ and submit your details to register as a bidder. We will send you a log on and password so you can download Quotation Document and specification. If you are unable to register with In-tend please either email us at: cps@birmingham.gov.uk. Quotation Response and embedded pricing schedule documents must be completed and returned no later than 12:00 (GMT) on 8th October 2024 using the Supplier Portal of the Intend project.
