Notice Description

Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service are going out to Tender for Servicing and Maintenance of Fire Alarms, Emergency Lighting and Smoke Detection Systems. The contract covers the annual inspection, testing, servicing and maintenance of fire alarms, emergency lighting and smoke detection systems in premises on sites as within Lancashire, in accordance with all current legislation and manufacturers recommendations. The contract also covers the recording of data on an Asset Register and on Schematic Drawings, and the production of an annual inspection report, as specified within contract documents. The Contractor shall remain vigilant of any changes to legislation and codes of practice, as well as remaining aware of all applicable manufacturer's recommendations and guidance notes. The Contractor shall provide a 365/6 day per year, 24 hour call-out service for emergency repairs and faults. The procurement exercise will be managed via the procurement portal (www.Supply4NWFire.org.uk). Hard copy submissions will not be accepted and all correspondence must be via the portal.
