Notice Description

North Tyneside Council (the Authority) is seeking to establish a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for housing repairs and maintenance who will deliver a range of service to supplement the internal workforce. The Authority have opted to establish a DPS as it is deemed the most appropriate option to meet its requirements and will enable a clear, consistent and compliant route to market. The DPS will be open to new entrants throughout its lifespan to allow coverage for ever changing requirements, including but not limited to new regulations and central government requirements. The Authority may procure works under this DPS in a variety of ways including bot not limited to, individual/single works, or a block of works over a specific period. The DPS is divided into the following High Level Lots based on the specific categories of repairs to be provided:- Lot 1 - Aerials/Sky Dish removal Lot 2 - Brickwork Contractors Lot 3 - Cavity Wall Insulation/Extraction Lot 4 - Ceiling/partition wall contractors Lot 5 - Cleaning Lot 6 - Drainage Survey and works Lot 7 - Electrical Contractors Lot 8 - Electronic Security Contractor Lot 9 - Fencing Contrators Lot 10 - Flooring Contractors Lot 11 - General Building Contractors Lot 12 - Glazier Contractors Lot 13 - Groundwork Contractor Lot 14 - Gutter Cleaning Lot 15 - Joinery Contractors Lot 16 - Joinery Manaufacturers Lot 17 - Landscape Engineers Lot 18 - Landscapers Lot 19 - Locksmith Lot 20 - Multi-Trade Lot 21 - Painting Contractors Lot 22 - Plastering Contractors Lot 23 - Plumbing Contractors Lot 24 - Roofing Contractos Lot 25 - Security Contractors Lot 26 - Tiling Contractors The Authority reserves the right to review and update the structure and content of any/all Lot(s) within the DPS at any time during the life of the DPS to ensure that it remains onsistently effective and efficient. Documentation to access the DPS are available to organisations immediately after they have registered their interest in this DPS via this electronic Tendering Portal. Additional information: The initial DPS Framework is for twenty four months with an option tpo extend for a further twelve months after which renewals will be undertaken in accordance with the Authority's contract Standing Orders.
