Summary of the contracting process

The procurement process involves Surrey Police seeking to establish a Collaborative Framework Agreement for the Provision of a Vehicle Recovery and Disposal Managed Service. This agreement, with an estimated value of £160,000,000, is intended for a duration of three years, with the option to extend for an additional year. All Police and Crime Commissioners, along with various public authorities in the UK, are eligible to utilise this framework. The tender is currently in the planning stage, with the evaluation date anticipated in October 2015. Prospective bidders must submit their responses by midday on 19th August 2015 through the EU Supply tendering portal.

This tender presents substantial growth opportunities for businesses engaged in the provision of emergency vehicle road services and related operations. Companies specialising in vehicle recovery, special-purpose motor vehicles, and demolition services of vehicles would be particularly well-suited to compete. With the framework available to a wide range of public authorities across the UK, suppliers can expect an extensive market reach, potentially benefiting from call-off contracts that may arise during the framework's term.
