Notice Description

The Police and Crime Commissioner for Kent and the Police and Crime Commissioner for Essex are each seeking to contract with an experienced horse recovery expert to assist Kent Police and Essex Police respectively in carrying out their statutory duties in respect of recovering stray horses (and other equines) found loose on the public highway. The successful Contractor/s will need to provide stabling facilities and other services in line with the Statement of Requirements, published on the Kent Police e-tendering portal with the tender documentation. The Contractor will need to attend any incident within 1 hour of the initial call from the Authority. Please note that there are 2 separate contract opportunities: Lot 1 will be for Kent Police and Lot 2 will be for Essex Police. There is no maximum number of Lots that an economic operator may submit bids for.
