Notice Description

The works shall comprise of complete services to replace the loose switchgear and low voltage submain cabling. a) Pre-construction survey of the existing installation b) Provide a new MCCB Panelboard in room B8 fed from the existing incoming supply. c) Re-fed distribution boards DB A, DB B, DB C, DB D, DB E, Lift Motor Room DB and Fire Alarm Panel from the new MCCB panel board by new cabling. d) Replace DB A located in electrical riser with a new distribution board with 10% spare capacity and locate in room B8. Rewire all ways served by DB A. e) Layout and construction design of the new low voltage panel board and submain cabling f) Discrimination study for the entire installation fed from the new MCCB low voltage panel board g) Alter the existing incoming supply and metering from existing loose switchgear to the new MCCB panel board h) Make amendments to existing earthing system to suit new arrangement i) Layout and sizing of all the wire ways, including conduit, trunking, tray and ladder j) Design and installation of brackets, supports, fixings and clamps k) Removal and disposal of existing loose switchgear, DB A and all redundant cabling and supports l) Fire stopping m) Provide a framed glazed 'record' LV schematic in the new LV switchoom n) All associated builders work Additional information: Interested suppliers should register at https://in-tendhost.co.uk/historicengland/aspx/Home in order to express interest and download tender documentation.
