Kingston University (the 'University') is seeking to appoint a contractor to assist Kingston University in discharging their obligations in respect of the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER). The contract opportunity is for a service contract for maintenance of Kingston University (KU) owned and operated work equipment by suitably qualified and competent persons The majority of work equipment is considered by the University to present a high risk in its operation. The equipment is used in various workshop and laboratory environments. These include art/design, fashion, metal and woodworking, automotive, mechanical and civil engineering, and chemistry/biology.
