Notice Title

GB-London: Health Visiting Case Studies

Notice Description

Health visitors lead on the delivery of the government's Healthy Child Programme for children aged 0 to five, working alongside other health and social care colleagues, including family nurse partnership teams, nursery nurses and other specialist health professionals. Health visitors are vital health assets in our communities and schools. They play a key role in identifying needs, promoting and improving health, preventing illness and reducing inequalities - helping babies and young children to thrive. Health visitors support children and families across the breadth of clinical, social and statutory need. We're looking to shine a light on health visiting through capturing six case studies, exploring the breadth of support health visitors provide to babies and families (for example, breastfeeding support, perinatal mental health, support for vulnerable families, young parents etc). This could also extend to newly developing models of support in Family Hubs as part of the Start for Life programme. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
