Notice Description

The objective of this project is to reduce non-compliant / poor driver behaviour by informing the right people in organisations to tackle the problems being captured on our network before more serious events occur. This in turn will result in safer drivers and a safer network and specifically contribute to "Improving safety for all". Target outcomes for this project are as follows: - A reduction in incidents and KSIs on the network relating to commercial vehicle drivers. - A reduction in non-compliant behaviour. - Improved customer satisfaction as they become less frustrated by the common behaviours attributed to commercial vehicles. - Greater awareness with commercial vehicle operators (van and HGV) of Highways England's role in supporting them in influencing driver behaviours. - Contribute to the HE goal of improving and expanding service without adding additional hardware.
