Notice Description

The framework agreement is for the following transport services: - Provision of private hire and hackney carriage taxi services for use by Council Officers and to transport vulnerable people on behalf of the Council - Mini Buses (Private Hire and Public Service Vehicles (PSV's) including wheelchair accessible vehicles and 28/max 35 seated low floor wheelchair accessible buses (to convey children to and from school and adults to and from day centres) - WITHOUT the supplier providing Pupil Guides. - Mini Buses (Private Hire and Public Service Vehicles (PSV's) including wheelchair accessible vehicles and 28/max 35 seated low floor wheelchair accessible buses (to convey children to and from school and adults to and from day centres) - WITH the supplier providing Pupil Guides. - Mini Bus and Coach Hire with Driver. The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). For the avoidance of doubt, the contracting authority points out that no weight will be attached to whether or not an economic operator is an SME in selecting economic operators to submit tenders or in assessing the most economically advantageous tender. BCC will be using its e-tendering system (in-tend) for the administration of this procurement process. Providers must register with the system to be able to express their interest.
