Notice Description
BFCCB/1395 - Lot 2 Provision of Social Work Services (SWS) to British Forces Cyprus - The provision of a fully integrated and managed SWS structured to replicate the statutory services normally provided in the UK by a local authority. Needs to be consistent with UK best practice, evidence based and in accordance with extant MOD and NHS policy. UK legislation (such as the Children Act 1989 and the Children Act 2004) does not apply outside the UK, however BFC is mandated to replicate the spirit of UK legislation, where it is practicable to do so. SWS comprises the delivery of a fully integrated and managed SWS service to include statutory and non-statutory service. Statutory: child protection; safeguarding; fostering; adoption; early years provision and adults SWS service. Non Statutory: personal and family support work; volunteer services; victim and witness support programme; delivery of domestic abuse intervention programme; and child-minding. 4 year core contract with 2 option periods Option Period 1 (01 Jul 24 to 30 Jun 27) Option Period 2 (01 Jul 27 to 30 Jun 30) Additional information: Advertised as CY-Angliskos Stratos, Epskopi: Health and social work services.
