Summary of the contracting process

The NECS396 Crisis Service procurement process is currently in the planning stage, overseen by the North of England Commissioning Support (NECS) on behalf of the NHS Bradford District & Craven Clinical Commissioning Group. The buyer is seeking providers from the Bradford Mental Health Provider Forum for crisis alternative support services in the Bradford and Craven areas. A key date for interested parties is the registration deadline for a bidder event, which is set for 5 October 2021, with the event taking place on 7 October 2021 via an online platform.

This tender presents significant growth opportunities for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) that specialise in health services, particularly in crisis support within the community. Businesses that can demonstrate capabilities in providing mental health support and those already part of the Bradford Mental Health Provider Forum are particularly well-suited to participate in this procurement process. Engaging in this tender could help expand service offerings and establish partnerships within the health sector.
