National Highways Innovation group, Roads development division The Phase 2 of the project (Task T0394) - Innovation and Research Strategy Implementation - completed by December 2023 set a series of recommendations that will rationalise the governance for Research and Innovation within National Highways and our innovation operating model. These changes are necessary to: - strengthen the organisations innovation capability, - explore collaboration frameworks (internal and external), - streamlining processes to improve Innovation management, - monitor and assess innovation using a consistent and systematic approach, - develop all the above in a holistic system ready for delivery of RIS3 innovations and research.
