Notice Title

Mental Wellbeing System Baseline measures and independent evaluation of commissioned activity

Notice Description

Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership ("GMHSCP") is seeking a partner(s) to evaluate the process, outputs, outcomes, impact (both intended and non- intended) and learning from the implementation of the Greater Manchester (GM) Mental Wellbeing programme. The successful organisation will be expected to a) establish baseline measures of mental wellbeing; b) evaluate the degree which commissioned activity has influenced wellbeing; and c) comment on factors influencing success, including barriers and facilitators to delivery. THE GM MENTAL WELLBEING PROGRAMME The overall aim of the programme is to transform the way mental wellbeing is understood and approached by those who live and work in Greater Manchester. To achieve this, it seeks to improve access to supportive training and resources and to address additional barriers faced by communities of interest. It aims to build on, and go beyond current existing frameworks of support - including those commissioned nationally and at the level of single commissioners. The objectives are: * To enhance and nurture more resilient communities. * To improve the mental wellbeing of the Greater Manchester population, using positive, preventative approaches and conversations that consistently take mental wellbeing into consideration. * To maximise the impact of the assets that already exist within our neighbourhoods * Joint working with priority communities of interest that will foster responses that will address specific needs The budget for this evaluation is PS50,000 (excluding VAT) over a period of Dec 2020 to Sept 2021 Ensuring value for money is essential. The evaluation partner is therefore required to provide clear costings for each aspect of the project including a breakdown of activities and related deliverables that meet the needs of the required evaluation as well as any assumptions underpinning the costs.
