The purpose of the Service is to ensure that the day-to-day care provided in Birmingham Children's Trust residential homes for children meets the required Quality Standards and that the Reg 44 Officer employed to undertake the Reg 44 visits, will provide critical and constructive feedback to improve services and highlight areas of good practice in accordance with Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015.
