Notice Title

The Provision of Medical Records System

Notice Description

WYFRS currently employs 1400 staff based at various sites across West Yorkshire. The bulk of these staff are operational firefighters with the remainder consisting of support staff. Looking after the health and safety of our staff is very important to us. Upon recruitment all staff need to undertake medicals. Some medicals are more detailed than others due to nature of roles, e.g. firefighters. Following recruitment all operational staff are required to undertake health screening every 3 years, with more frequent health surveillance in place for higher risk roles. Sickness monitoring is also managed through the unit on an on-going basis. Recording this data and being able to retrieve this securely is important for the Occupational Health Unit (OHU) within WYFRS. OHU's current system has been in place for over 10 years and provides limited functionality and is not compliant with GDPR. WYFRS is looking for a new system that is user friendly, which meets the needs of WYFRS and is GDPR compliant. Transferring of existing employee medical data onto the new system will be a key requirement of the new Supplier. The Supplier will be required to work closely with WYFRS OHU and ICT (Information Technology) departments to support a timely and smooth transition whilst meeting the needs of WYFRS. Additional information: Please refer to ITT Documentation. Is a Recurrent Procurement Type? : Yes
