Summary of the contracting process

The West Berkshire Council is seeking suppliers for the "Provision of Particulate Matter PM2.5 monitoring" under an open tender method. This project aims to enhance air quality monitoring across 42 schools within Bracknell Forest, Wokingham, and West Berkshire as part of the Public Protection Partnership’s DEFRA grant-funded initiative. The expected contract duration is from 21st December 2021 to 31st March 2023, and the total contract value is £125,000, focused on environmental issues consultancy services.

Companies with capabilities in project management and air quality assessment can leverage this opportunity to contribute to a significant public sector initiative while expanding their portfolio in environmental services. Notably, this project supports businesses that can deliver site-specific mitigation action plans and regular reporting on air quality data.
