Notice Description

Pre-Tender Market Engagement Technology Enabled Care Service. Lancashire County Council is due to embark on a procurement process to source a provider(s) to deliver our future Technology Enabled Care Service. This intended commission will significantly widen the scope of our current telecare service to become all age, preventive, proactive and fully integrated with remote health monitoring and electronic care records. It is an ambitious commission that will introduce new and innovative technologies and digital approaches which enhance the experience and the outcomes for our service users. We want the move from analogue to digital to be much more than a simple replacement, it will be an opportunity for a fundamental redesign of our existing telecare offer. Our intended new approach will embed a complete service offer which includes supporting the assessment and care planning process and delivering a proactive and appropriate response. The intended procurement is likely to commence in October/November of 2022, with service commencing 1st November 2023. The final specification for the procurement will be determined by the feedback from the market engagement event and stakeholder consultation being carried out through the summer period. We would welcome your comments and views. Providers who may be interested in delivering the services above are invited to an engagement event. The purpose of the event is to give you the opportunity to ask questions and to find out more about our commissioning intentions. This will be on online engagement event on Monday 18th July 2022 10:30-12:00.
