Notice Description

The installation of a new field drainage system over the Sports Club's rugby pitch including 60mm laterals connected to 100mm sub-mains, complete with sand grooving. The pitch had a drainage system installed at the time of its original construction back in 2007 but it does not seem to be working properly as the pitch lays very wet during winter and is generally very soft throughout the season. The pitch was unplayable during the winter months of last season. Additional information: The Council invites tenders for this contract through its e-tendering portal. Tenders must be submitted through this same mechanism by the closing time and date of 12:00 noon on Monday, 20th May 2016. Tenders will be evaluated on the basis of 80% Price and 20% Quality as set out in the tender documentation.
