Notice Title
West Essex IAPT - Further Market Engagement
Notice Description
West Essex Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) will shortly be commencing a tender process to appoint a provider to deliver its Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) Service. To support the CCG to complete a robust process, which achieves the highest standard of services for our patient population, market engagement events have already been undertaken. These events were published on Contracts Finder and the scope of discussions were focused on testing the commissioner's service specification, and to obtain insight from providers in understanding potential risks and issues which may need to be addressed. Since this time, the commissioners have been reviewing the intelligence gathered in the context of the West Essex locality. The specification has now been finalised and commissioners are working on developing their financial model. The project team have utilised benchmarking against other comparable services and have completed a bottom up costing model of the proposed IAPT service within West Essex working with different scenarios. It is key that the service is both affordable for the CCG and is sustainable for providers to deliver across the life of the contract. Therefore, we are conducting further market engagement through a Request for Information (RFI) process. This is a paper-based exercise designed to test assumptions made within the financial model. Interested providers are asked to register on the Attain Bravo Solution Portal to complete the questionnaire. If you would like to take part in this exercise the deadline for completed questionnaires is 30th September at 5pm.
