Notice Description

Chelsea and Westminster Hospital is looking to appoint a supplier who will be able to deliver an Automated Textile Management System. Scrubs are sanitary clothing worn by hospital staff working in environments where infection control is essential. An automated scrubs supply dispenser will allow hospital staff to access clean scrubs and deposit used ones in a controlled manner. The system required will control the distribution and collection of hospital scrubs. The responsibility for the replenishing and collection of stock shall remain with the Trust Automated Textile Management System will be required within two areas in the West Middlesex University Hospital Location 1 - Operating Theatres (Main Hospital) The equipment must be able to fit into 2 available spaces, within the following dimensions * Space 1 Height = 200cm, Width = 132cm Depth = 60cm. * Space 2 Height = 200cm, Width = 132cm Depth = 60cm Location 2 - Maternity unit (Queen Mary Maternity building). The equipment must be able to fit into one available space, within the following dimensions * Space 1 Height = 200cm, Width = 300cm Depth = 60cm. A rental contract to include a fully comprehensive maintenance and support service 5 days per week, 52 weeks of the year, to provide an inventory control system that manages scrub suit usage to authorised users. A system capable of distributing scrub suits by the correct size and colour to each authorised member of the staff 24 hours a day, seven days a week. A model capable of holding and depositing a minimum of 120 scrub suits at a time.
