Notice Title

GB-Trent: Branston Water Park Modular Toilet

Notice Description

Modular and portable buildings. East Staffordshire Borough Council is seeking the procurement of a modular toilet facility to replace the current public toilets at Branston Water Park. Branston Water Park is a premier wildlife site in East Staffordshire. Located just outside Burton off the A38 in the National Forest, the Water Park was originally an open cast gravel pit. It is now a Local Nature Reserve and home to many species of plants and animals, both common and nationally rare. The reed bed is particularly important to wildlife as it is one of the largest in Staffordshire. The new building should consist of two individually accessed unisex toilets, both suitable and fully accessible to disabled users. The design should complement its surroundings in a local nature reserve and demonstrate a firm commitment to both sustainability and the climate change agenda. Further detail on the requirement is included within the associated procurement documents. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
