NHS Chorley and South Ribble Clinical Commissioning Group and NHS Greater Preston Clinical Commissioning Group- Digital Adult IAPT Service
Notice Description
NHS Chorley and South Ribble Clinical Commissioning Group and NHS Greater Preston Clinical Commissioning Group are inviting suitably experienced and qualified organisations to participate in this procurement for a Digital Adult IAPT Service. The Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) Programme began in 2008 and has transformed the treatment of adult anxiety disorders and depression in England. IAPT has been widely-recognised as the most ambitious programme of talking therapies in the world. IAPT is a stepped care system, this means that following an assessment patients are provided with the least burdensome effective treatment necessary for their recovery. Treatment can be provided as a digital service as well as face to face to improve the mental wellbeing of people experiencing psychological distress. This procurement is in relation to the commissioning of a digital service to support the delivery of the IAPT programme. The expectations of IAPT's impact are extensive and cover a wide range of both core and specific areas (which includes long term conditions). The specification for this digital service is based on a set of strictly defined national requirements and outcomes as well as locally defined expectations and outcomes. The national expectations of IAPT service delivery are described in the IAPT Manual and further developed in a set of "Positive Practice Guides". These national documents must be used to inform the core delivery of this service being commissioned. The maximum value of the contract will be PS211,000 per annum. The contract will be for 1 year (with a possible extension for 1 year) Please refer to the specification attached for more information. Additional information: The ITT will be live on the 31st January 2020 on the MLCSU Bravo portal (see below) and it will have a deadline for submissions of 12:00 on Friday 28th February 2020 12:00pm. The deadline for submitting clarification questions on the tender is 12:00 Friday 21st February 12:00pm. Interested providers are guided to the MLCSU eProcurement portal Bravo at https://mlcsu.bravosolution.co.uk to register their interest and gain access to this procurement's documents and more specific information.
