UK SBS PR18123 Supply of Fasteners for RFDS waveguide at ESS Lund
Notice Description
THE CLOSING DATE FOR THIS TENDER IS 29TH AUGUST 2018 AT 14:00. Please disregard any content in this notice that requests your organisation "to apply direct to the buyer" as this is unfortunately a system generated error that is outside of the Contracting Authority's control. This requirement is for the supply, testing and delivery of components for the RF distribution system of the European Spallation Source (ESS) in Lund. These are the fasteners for 15 Units in the ESS. STFC are providing a number of goods and services on behalf of the ESS. This tender is for the supply of fasteners to assemble the RF distribution waveguide system. A set of fasteners are required to assemble the RFDS system at the ESS. This will be for the HB/MB sections of the ESS. UK Shared Business Services eSourcing As part of the strategic alliance between UK Shared Business Services Ltd (UK SBS) and Crown Commercial Service (CCS), UK SBS can use the CCS eSourcing Suite for future procurements. This procurement will be managed electronically via the Crown Commercial Services e-Sourcing Suite. To participate in this procurement, participants shall first be registered on the e-Sourcing Suite. If Bidders have not yet registered on the portal this can be done online at https://gpsesourcing.cabinetoffice.gov.uk by following the 'Supplier e-Sourcing Registration'. Please note that to register Bidders must have a valid DUNS number for the organisation which you are registering. Full instructions for registration and use of the system can be found at: http://ccs.cabinetoffice.gov.uk/i-am-supplier/respondtender. Once you have registered on the e-Sourcing Suite, a registered user can express an interest for a specific procurement. If you have not done this already please follow the guidance: This is done by emailing ExpressionOfInterest@crowncommercial.gov.uk. Your email must clearly state: the name and reference for the procurement you wish to register for; the name of the registered Bidder; and the name and contact details for the registered individual sending the email. Crown Commercial Service will process the email and then enable the Bidder to access the procurement online via the e-Sourcing Suite. The registered user will receive a notification email to alert them once this has been done. Once this has been completed, when you log into the CSS website, please follow the attached guidance notes which will show you how to find the tenders.
