Notice Description

The PCC for Avon and Somerset is working with Bath and North East Somerset Council, Bristol City Council, North Somerset Council, Somerset County Council and South Gloucestershire Council to commission a "Specialist Support Service for Victims of Child Sexual Exploitation" across policing boundaries of Avon and Somerset Constabulary. The Service will complement and be part of a network of existing services for victims of crime and anti-social behaviour. The Contractor shall remain independent of statutory partners such as the Contracting Authority and Co-commissioners, though will work in close partnership and coordination them, and other partners and professionals involved in the delivery of services and support to victims of child sexual exploitation. It was awarded for the initial term of 01/10/2017 to 31/03/2021, with an option to extend by a further two years in increments of one year at a time.
