The Genomics lab currently have a 10X Genomics Instrument and require specific kits that are compatible with the existing system. Kits for the study of single cell gene expression within a gene population. For use with 10X Genomics instruments. The kits required are specialised and only available through the manufacturer 10X Genomics. They are patented products that are for sole use on the 10X genomics instrument systems currently being used at the institute
