Falconry Services for Bird Pest Control

Notice Description

Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP) Council contract for a single bird pest control organisation to support both Nuffield Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC) and Poole Housing Partnership (PHP) currently an arms-length management organisation (ALMO), with the effective control and management of Bird Pest. During the duration of the contract, PHP will join BCP Council and will no longer be a separate entity functioning as an ALMO. The method that has proven to be the most successful for bird pest control is Falconry. This is the Council's preferred method, although how this is implemented may be different at individual locations.
