Notice Description

Title: Tender for the Supply and Maintenance of Media Related Services at Sandwell Register Office, Sandwell Valley Crematorium and Rowley Regis Crematorium Ref SCC 157 Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council has a requirement for a supplier of a music database, visual tributes and a webcasting recording service with internet access for wedding ceremonies and funeral services at Sandwell Register Office, Sandwell Valley Crematorium and Rowley Regis Crematorium and continued ongoing maintenance and licencing of the systems. The fulfilment of the contract is dependent upon the suppliers' ability to utilise existing media related infrastructure or demonstrate compatibility. These have been installed by the previous supplier Wesley Media/The Yaboo Co. The successful supplier is required to provide all necessary software for the following outputs to be fully achieved. The following is a brief indication of the requirements: - o Music database - enabling access to suitable digital music for wedding ceremonies and funeral services o Visual tributes - enable the playing of short videos and visual presentations, photographs etc. during ceremonies and funeral services o Recording services/ceremonies - to enable HD visual and audio recording of ceremonies and funeral services which can be made available to the customer on to formats as noted in the pricing schedule. o Webcasts - enable families and couples to webcast their funeral services and ceremonies in real time and continue to be available for viewing a minimum of up to one month days thereafter Contractors/Supplier(s) Appointment It is anticipated that the Council will appoint a single provider that is a suitably qualified and experienced to provide the services at an agreed price and specification to the terms and conditions of this Tendering process.
