Notice Description

Telford and Wrekin Council is seeking quotes from providers who are interested in delivering a project "Right Help, Right Time to Promote Independence". The requirement is to develop a community project for volunteer and peer roles across Telford & Wrekin, Shropshire. Delivery will be reliant on strong collaborations and partnerships to enable access to all community resources. It is intended the project will reduce dependency on public services and build resilient communities across Telford & Wrekin. TUPE may apply to this project. The Council is seeking to conclude a new grant from 16 January 2017 (to resolve any potential transfer of staff issues) to commence from the 1 April 2017. The Provider will work alongside the Council, individuals, family, carers and community to ensure delivery of the outcomes. Providers who are interested will be required to submit their response and will be subject to the Council's assessment process. Completed responses must be returned by no later than 12:00 Noon Friday 16 December 2016. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
