Notice Description

Project Kipling has been set up to identify and agree a recovery plan for the SWR business. It is intended to determine solutions to the current financial difficulties of the franchise, and a commercial agreement which delivers this including, if appropriate, consideration of commercial models such as mutual termination and direct award. The DfT is seeking to appoint one to two advisers to carry out a Lead Commercial Negotiator function which may include the management and co-ordincation of other advisers (procured under a separate work order). The Lead Commercial Negotiator working alongside the Client Team and other technical and commercial advisers, will provide technical and commercial support, analysis and strategic advice as part of the Department's negotiation of commercial issues and provisions within a particular Franchise
