Notice Description

The Trust is building a new sterile services department to replace their existing unit to enable the existing area to be demolished allowing construction of a new surgical centre. The construction and engineering works are being undertaken via the procure 22 framework with the lead contractor being Kier. The Trust will be placing the order for the equipment to be procured installed and commissioned however these works will be taking place in a construction site under the control of the management contractor Kier. This tender is primarily related to the provision of the following items; a) Four instrument washer disinfectors each with a capacity of 15 DIN baskets per cycle with a cycle time of 30 minutes or less, the washers will all be steam heated with one having additionally an electrical heating system to provide contingency for steam loss b) Eight Transfer trolleys compatible with washers c) Eight Flat carriages with five levels to be used in the instrument washers d) Four cannulated instrument carriages for use in the instrument washers. Each wash level to have removable manifolds to allow more flexibility of these carriages and to allow at least 5 cannulated instruments to be attached to each removable manifold. e) Two transfer hatches for the return of baskets and any rejected equipment. f) Two trolley washers each capable of washing 30 containers including lids bases and filter retainers on a trolley g) Two in number trollies for the trolley container washer h) Three sterilisers pass through each of fifteen DIN basket or greater i) Eight height adjustable trollies for steriliser loading j) Eight loading carriages for the sterilisers each with three shelves k) Supplementary equipment to provide one in number Automated Ultrasonic Washer capable of reprocessing Davinci robot accessories approved by Intuitive Devices.
