Summary of the contracting process

The procurement process involves Oxfordshire County Council seeking to establish a Dynamic Framework Agreement for Living Well At Home services, which includes Reablement, Homecare, and Extra Care Housing. The contracting opportunity has a total estimated value of £206.1 million and is classified under health and social work services. The contract period began on 1st October 2021 and is scheduled to run until 31st March 2028, with call-off contracts commencing in August 2021. The procurement method used is the open procedure, with the tender period having closed on 4th August 2021.

This tender presents significant growth opportunities for businesses, particularly those in the health and social care sector. Companies that specialise in providing homecare, reablement services, and social support solutions would be well-suited to compete, including both large-scale suppliers and small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) operating within the community care space. With the potential for additional and complementary services to be included in the framework throughout its duration, firms that demonstrate innovation and adaptability in service provision will likely find themselves in a favourable position.
