Electrical Servicing
Notice Description
Rushmoor Borough Council - the 'council' - is inviting expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced suppliers for a three (3) year + two (2) year contract for the provision of electrical servicing for a range of council buildings (29 in total), including the civic offices, crematorium, sports pavilions, community centres and offices. The Council recognises and accepts its responsibility as a building owner and the duty of care placed on it by legislation and takes all reasonably practicable steps to ensure that the buildings under its direct control are managed and operated safely. This contractor is to assist the Council in complying with its duties under the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 to include: * Electrical Installation Condition Report servicing to be carried out every five years * Portable Appliance Testing to be carried out every two years * Reactive Works The Contract is anticipated to commence on Monday 23rd October 2023 for Rushmoor Borough Council. The value of the contract requirement equates to approximately PS75,000. The council is undertaking the procurement process in general accordance with the open procedure. It should be noted that the contract value falls below the statutory threshold for services set out within Public Contracts Regulations (2015) and as such only the aspects of the regulations concerned with below threshold contracts shall apply. The council will undertake a procurement process to award the contract in line with the summary programme set out below: * ITT published on SEBP & project published on Contracts Finder - Friday 28th July * Deadline for requests for clarification - Friday 18th August 2023, 23:59 * Tender return deadline - Friday 8th September 2023, 16:00 * Contract award - Monday 2nd October 2023 * Target contract execution - Monday 23rd October 2023 The Council is utilising an electronic tendering tool to manage this procurement and communicate with Tenderers. Accordingly, there will be no hard copy documents issued to Tenderers and all communications with the Council, including the submission of Tenderers' Responses, will be conducted via the ProContract system, which can be accessed using the following link: https://procontract.due-north.com/Login Suppliers not currently registered on the ProContract procurement portal can complete a simple registration process by clicking the following link and registering https://procontract.due-north.com/Register
