Notice Description

ASSESS: Initially the Service Provider will be required to inspect, identify and evaluate all the underlying pest infestations at BHC premises. Service provider will be required to undertake a comprehensive inspection to detect any sanitation issues and structural conditions conducive for pests by utilising moisture meters or Termatrac Radar/Thermal Detector. Examine and report any evidence of pest infestation. Undertake risk evaluation and consider BHC facility type, geography and any conditions conducive to pest activity. IMPLEMENT: Depending on the site requirements, the service provider should undertake Cookie-cutter pest management solutions. Service provider should continually work with BHC to develop a customized solution. Service provider should focus on prevention, when possible, start with exclusion and sanitation and finally, chemical options. Products used during implementation of pest control should be environmentally responsible; the service provider should select the most effective treatment with the least impact on the environment. For sanitation consultation service provider should consult with the authority to make sure the cleaning, facility maintenance and exclusion efforts make a real impact on potential pest "Hot Spots". MONITOR: Service provider will be expected to do a year-round monitoring, documentation and communication help to ensure the ongoing effectiveness of the services. During regular service inspections, service provider will monitor signs of pest activity, look for pest conducive conditions and ensure that the program is working. After each service, service provider will record all services performed, pest activity and any other recommendations. All of the above pesticide measures should be carried out by using Government approved chemicals (E.g.: MSDS) and must comply with environmental friendly concept. The supplier should obtain a sign off from the relevant Estates Officer after every visit and must submit along with an overall report of the inspection to the Facilities Manager within a period of 3 days. Additional information: In order to be considered for this project it and receive pre-qualification and/or tender information it is necessary that you register your company (including any relevant information requested) on the Foreign & Commonwealth Office Procurement Portal, e-Bravo. Failure to do this will mean your company may not receive a Tender; no tenders will be issued via open e-mail. Project 2013, ITT 2734 : Providing Pest Control Services to British High Commission in Colombo Sites How to apply in this Project: 1.
