Notice Description

NHS England South East (Thames Valley) plans to commission Advanced Mandatory Restorative and Oral Surgery services on the basis of one service in each of the health systems in the Thames Valley (Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire East and Berkshire West). These pathways will ensure there are referral routes for more complex treatments that do not require treatment in a hospital setting. Other benefits to this approach are: * A planned level of activity will be commissioned each year, which will help to achieve equal access to services across the Thames Valley. * Services will be commissioned at scale which means there will be more opportunity for the delivery of services using skill mix. * One service per county will support more integrated working with primary and secondary care. NHS England South East (Thames Valley) would like to invite suitably qualified providers to attend a market briefing event which will inform the market of their intentions to procure Advanced Mandatory Restorative and Oral Surgery services in Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, East Berkshire and West Berkshire. It is envisaged that the tender documentation for these services will be available April 2019 (Restorative) and June 2019 (Oral Surgery). The market engagement event will be held on Monday 25th March 2019 between 19:00 and 21:00 at Jubilee House, 5510 John Smith Drive, Oxford Business Park South, Oxford, OX4 2LH. Providers wishing to attend the Market Briefing Event should email using the subject line "MEB Restorative/Oral TV" to : scwcsu.procurement@nhs.net by 12 Noon Friday 22nd March 2019: Name of Attendee(s) Job Title of attendee(s) Organisation details including and contact details An expression of interest to attend this Market Briefing Event is no indication of a commitment to participate in the future tender process nor does it infer any special status on those Providers who do attend. Any procurement conducted as a result of this event will be advertised separately and all organisations wanting to participate will need to respond to the procurement advertisement as and when it is published. Providers who do not attend this Market Engagement Event will still be able to apply for the Procurement in the future.
