Notice Description
Job Title: Care Assistant Rate of Pay: ?12.18 per hour Hours: 30 hours per week Location: Willow Gardens Extra Care Services, Harvest Road, Rowley Regis, B65 8FG. Start Date: ASAP Contract type: Agency Job Description and Personnel Specification are attached, which also provides more information above the role. Brief description: Willow Gardens is an Extra Care facility providing planned care and support to individuals living in their own homes. The scheme comprises of 90 self-contained flats and provides a person-centred Care and Support to these individuals. As well as the care and support aspect of the service we also provide social opportunities and community engagement within the communal areas of the scheme. We currently have a temporary vacancy for Care Assistant's to join our team to support and promote the values of this service. o Provide a quality Care and Support service to individuals during including medication administration and personal care as essential. o Work as part of a team to provide a service in line with CQC essential standards and the processes and procedures of the organisation. o Experience with working or caring for older people is essential. o A willingness to undertake mandatory training and qualifications where required. o An ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team. o Must be flexible and can work weekends and Bank Holidays as required. o Have good written and verbal skills. This role requires an Enhanced Adults DBS. Inside IR35. Location: Willow Gardens Extra Care Services, Harvest Road, Rowley Regis, B65 8FG. Hours: 30 hours per week. Stated rates must be inclusive of all known costs.
