Research into emissions from emerging technologies is necessary to enable a sufficient response to the UK's NZ policy ambitions, as well as for more accurate forecasting of future emissions. Defra commissioned in 2023 WSP to conduct a study regarding the impact of new and emerging low-carbon technologies on air quality. Contract awarded by DEFRA.
