Replacement Multiplay Unit and Safety Surfacing
Notice Description
Name of project: Gang Warily Play Area Project budget: PS40,000 Location: Gang Warily Recreation Centre, Newlands Road, Fawley, Hampshire SO45 1GA. Responsible Officer: Stephanie Bennett, Clerk to the Council (stephanie.bennett@fawley-pc.gov.uk) IMPORTANT: A site visit is recommended to assess access, gain detailed measurements, location of nearby sports facilities and access points to and around the site. The play area is an open site and suppliers are welcome to visit the site at their own convenience without penalty. Complete tender document available on Fawley Parish Council website https://www.fawley-pc.gov.uk/new-multiplay-unit-gang-warily-opportunity-to-tender/ Additional information: Clarification: the list at 2.4 is a preference list from the young people and the Parish Council does not anticipate that all of these will be included. Tenderers are invited to include as many as they feel appropriate and possible in their offered design. Question and clarification "Within the tender document it states that 20% of the scoring will be "Young person preference". Can you please expand on how this evaluation will take place". The Council will provide copies of the designs to the youth workers who will visit holiday clubs, youth clubs and any other meetings with young people and ask for feedback on preference. These preferences will be noted and fed back to the Clerk to the Council Question and clarification The responses of the young people with numbers of individual requests Adult friendly equipment: 1 Shade/ Cover: 3 Trampoline: 10 Climbing Frame ( Large/ wall: 5 New Slide: 2 New Swings: 3 Lower set of monkey bars: 2 Seesaw (traditional): 1 Spider web climbing frame: 2 Sandpit: 3 Baby Sensory equipment: 1 Roundabout: 4 Play House: 1 Mud Kitchen: 4 Better Zipwire: 2 Big Slide Climbing Frame: 3 Big Rope Climbing Frame: 2 Little Track for scooters or bikes inside the park: 2 Snake Slide: 4 Clarification: the Council has no preference for metal or wood frame Clarification: the Council prefers that new safety surface is not laid on top of the old safety surface Clarification: We ask for unbranded so that the persons assessing each tender have no information re companies - all documents received are coded per submission so I am aware of what belongs with what as I am the administrator. This is normal practice in procurement - perhaps you could add blank boxes over your logos and then save as pdfs Submitting from a company email address is fine provided it is marked with the tender heading
