Notice Information
Notice Title
House Project October 2024 Onwards
Notice Description
Oxfordshire County Council is seeking views from potential providers on how best to deliver the House Project from October 2024 onwards. The House Project is part of a national programme (Home | The National House Project (thehouseproject.org)), run by The National House Project, which is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation. The National House Project was founded in 2018 and forms part of an Innovation Programme by the Department for Education. The House Project provides supported accommodation to Young People aged 16 and over. Theoretically, there is no upper age limit for the House Project and the idea is that Young People can remain in their home as part of the Project for as long as they wish. In practice, the Project does support Young People to move on and to find and sustain their own onwards accommodation. The aim of this exercise is to understand the provider market, current and emerging practices as well as likely level of interest in the potential procurement activity that the Council may carry out. It is also an opportunity for developing relationships with providers and gain insight on how they would approach the delivery of the service. If you are interested in sharing your views, please complete the questionnaire and return by 10:00am on 31st October 2023. Please note that this is neither a call for competition nor a procurement exercise.
