Summary of the contracting process

The HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) is seeking to engage an external organisation through the tender entitled "15-PSCR-1164 Civil Service Work Experience Programme." This procurement process falls under the recruitment services industry category and is set to execute in various locations across the United Kingdom, including London, Glasgow, and Manchester. The tender period concluded on 12 October 2015, and the contract itself commenced on 24 November 2015, lasting until 23 November 2017. The procurement method employed is an open procedure, aiming for the appointment of a single supplier, although the division into Lots could occur.

This opportunity presents significant potential for businesses specialising in recruitment services, particularly those focused on engaging with under-represented youth and enhancing social mobility. Companies with strong networks in education and a capacity to manage logistics for work experience placements will thrive in this competitive landscape. Additionally, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) are especially encouraged to apply, aligning with the programme's aim to foster diversity and inclusion within the Civil Service.
