Brief Description of Requirement The aim of this tender exercise is to appoint a supplier for the provision of the research and writing of a report on the Core principles and opportunities for trustworthy and responsible AI. The output of this work is split into 2 phases. Phase 1 makes the backbone of the work and is linked with submission of the interim report. Phase 2, constitutes with finalising the report, revisions and final edits. Specific objectives: - Research key principles underlying trust and responsibility of AI systems. o Importance of principles in different stages of the AI lifecycle - Research innovation opportunities that derive from trust and responsible AI systems. - Research commercial opportunities that derive from development of trust and responsible AI systems. - Outline opportunities the UK could focus on and lead in these areas:- o Research o Innovation o AI standards - Outline any gaps in the UK or clear advantage points where international markets are ahead in implementation of trust and responsible AI covering ethical, legal and technical advancements. - Provide a 3 page executive summary Please ensure you review all attached information to ensure a full understanding of this requirement.
