Summary of the contracting process

The Humber Business Growth Hub, operated by Hull City Council, is facilitating the #GrowMySME Workshop Programme aimed at supporting SMEs in the Yorkshire and the Humber region. The procurement process, classified under business development consultancy services, is currently in the Award stage. The programme, which has a total value of £160,000, encompasses two main delivery streams: Accessing Finance and Information and Communications Technology. The tender period concluded on 16 December 2019, with contracts expected to commence on 3 February 2020 and run until 31 May 2021.

This tender presents significant opportunities for SMEs specialising in business consultancy and technology services, particularly those focused on financial advice and ICT solutions. Companies capable of delivering high-quality workshops and masterclasses in these areas will be well-positioned to compete for the contract. Given the funding's source from the European Regional Development Fund, organisations with experience in EU-funded projects or similar programmes may have an advantageous edge in their proposals.
