Notice Description

The Berkshire East Specialist Wheelchair Service based in Maidenhead provides mobility services for people across east Berkshire and South Buckinghamshire that are struggling or are unable to walk because of a long term illness or disability. The appointed supplier will provide clinical support and specialist manufactured items and alternative third party solutions as necessary for the assessment and provision of special seating systems. This will include but will not limited to foam carve, moulded systems for the following, adaptive seating systems, bespoke contoured seating systems, base units and associated product accessories such as spare and replacement parts such as headrests and covers. Total contract value given in this notice of PS260k is approximate based on initial term and all extension periods of two further years if taken up. Contract is expected to start 1st April 2020 to 31 March 2022 with two further periods of one year possible totalling four years overall.
