Summary of the contracting process

The NHS Hammersmith and Fulham Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), represented by NHS Shared Business Services, is planning to procure an Employment, Recovery and Wellbeing Service. This service aims to support individuals with mental health challenges through employment assistance, peer support, and signposting to other resources. The procurement is currently in the planning stage, with a budget of £2.5 million allocated for a contract period starting on 1 April 2018 and ending on 31 March 2023, with an option to extend for an additional two years. Interested providers are required to submit their responses to a Request for Information (RFI) by 12 noon on 27 October 2017, and a market engagement event is scheduled for 2 November 2017 in London.

This tender presents substantial opportunities for businesses focused on health and social care services, particularly those with capabilities in mental health support, community engagement, and employment services. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations are especially encouraged to compete, as the CCG specifically seeks to assess the market's interest and capacity to offer solutions that address the diverse needs of individuals with mental health problems. With the potential for a three to five-year contract, businesses are invited to showcase innovative approaches and solutions aligned with the CCG's commissioning intentions.
