Summary of the contracting process

The National Maritime Museum in London is currently inviting tenders for an Energy Audit across its various sites, which include the main museum, the Royal Observatory, and the Cutty Sark. This procurement process, classified under the CPV category for Energy and related services, is at the Tender stage and is scheduled to close on 21st June 2019. The total value of this contract is estimated at £25,000, with a minimum bid value of £10,000. The audit, aimed at identifying energy waste and potential savings, will take place from 1st August to 31st December 2019.

This tender presents significant growth opportunities for businesses specialising in energy audits and mechanical and electrical engineering services. Companies with experience in energy efficiency, building energy management systems, and HVAC systems would be well-suited to participate. With the added challenge of working within a UNESCO World Heritage site, bidders should highlight any relevant experience in conservation and compliance with the heritage status of the buildings involved.
