Summary of the contracting process

Cherwell District & South Northamptonshire Council has initiated a procurement process for a "Consultancy Services Framework" aimed at establishing a framework agreement for consultancy services. This procurement belongs to the services category, specifically within the business and management consultancy and related services industry. The process is currently active and is following an open procurement method with an end date for tenders set for 8th June 2018. The contract is expected to commence on 16th July 2018 and will last until 16th July 2022. The framework will encompass various areas of consultancy, structured into three main lots: Information Technology, Human Resources, and Business Improvement and Change Management, based in Oxfordshire, UK.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), to engage with the public sector in providing consultancy services. Businesses that specialise in IT, human resources, business improvement, and change management are well-suited to compete for this consultancy framework. Additionally, firms that can offer flexibility and expertise for project-based services will be beneficial, as the authority anticipates calling off services from contractors when internal capacity or capability is limited. This initiative may also allow successful providers to gain insights and experiences that they can leverage in future projects, enhancing their service offerings across various sectors.
