The services required include stray dog collection, detention, kennelling, and additional options such as pet micro-chipping and dog training sessions. The deadline for tender submission is 6th March 2025, with the contract period starting on 1st May 2025 and ending on 30th April 2028. Firms specialising in animal care services, including kenneling and dog handling, would find this tender well-suited to their expertise. Additionally, businesses able to offer supplementary services such as micro-chipping and educational programmes will have a competitive edge. This contract offers not just a stable financial prospect but also the potential for ongoing collaboration with the Council and community engagement.
